I today I am going to do a book tag based on The Greatest Showman. If you haven’t seen the Greatest Showman then I suggest you stop reading this and go watch it. It is one of the best film musicals ever. The songs are just amazing!
I found this tag over at FictionTea but the original tag is by NightlyReading.
I’m not going to tag anyone to do this as I am new here and I don’t know many people. If you are interested in doing this just go ahead!
<!-- more --> THE GREATEST SHOW | In which book is the intro amazing?
I was leaving this for the last one as I wasn’t 100% sure on what to put but as I was writing my brain just kept repeating Nevernight. So I suppose have to say Nevernight. The intro just gets straight into the action and that’s what I like as it gets me hooked in.
COME ALIVE | In which book is there a good plot twist?
There are so many! The most recent book with a good plot twist in it was Bring Me Back. I can’t say what it is as it will spoil the ending but I did not expect it at all.
THE OTHER SIDE | In which book does a villain turn onto a good guy or vise versa?
I have to say Final Girls but I can’t say why as it will totally ruin the end of the book. But lets just say the murderer is not who you expect. It kinda ruined the book as I didn’t expect it and I did really like the character but all the best villains are likable.
NEVER ENOUGH | In which book do you hate the love triangle?
I always hate love triangles. It’s one of the many reasons why 2018 was a year where I didn’t read as much YA. It seems that all YA have love triangles and I just hate them so much!! So I’m not going to give a certain book for this answer. I’m just going to say them all and books need to stop putting in love triangles because they are not original and are just so annoying. Sorry….
THIS IS ME | In which book is the representation amazing?
I have to say that I’m not that good when it comes with books having good representation. I always just go off what the blurb says and it’s up to the author to put the representation in. I have to say my answer is so obvious but it has to be Six of Crows. I feel really bad to say that this is the only book that comes into my head when you say the worlds ‘representation’ and ‘diversity’. But like I said, I just read a book if the blurb sounds interesting. Authors just need to think about diversity more.
REWRITE THE STARS | In which book is it ‘us against the world’ (doesn’t have to be romantic)
I seriously cannot think of anything… The only book I can think of is The Hunger Games as it always seems to be Katniss and Peeta against everyone else, they always seem to be their own team, even after Peeta gets brainwashed.
TIGHTROPE | In which book did the love triangle take a wrong turn?
The first thing that came into my mine was Ferye, Rhys and Tamlin the in the a Court of Thorns and Roses. Mainly because it’s a different kind of love triangle. Ferye starts of in love with Tamlin but when Tamlin starts being possessive she falls in love with Rhys (very slowly). But then we see this turn when Tamlin becomes mad and would do everything to get Ferye back, even making deals with the villain of the story. I think it was just good to see the woman work out who the better man was straight away and not take a whole series to figure it out.
FROM NOW ON | In which book does the protagonist only get their stiff together in the end?
This is quite hard as a lot of protagonists go through this as it’s the whole point of the story. But the most obvious one is probably Aelin from the Throne of Glass series. She did always have some sort of plan and it wasn’t just her who ended up defeating the bad guy. But it was just great for her to finally just decide to stand and fight instead of just making some elaborate plan that could work or go drastically wrong.
There you go. This has to have been one of the hardest book tags I have done. I just found it quite difficult to pick interesting answers. Also there seems to be a lot of YA in this to say that I haven’t been reading as much lately.
I’ll be interested to see what you guys would have put.
P.S Please like/reblog this if you enjoyed this post. It will help get the news out about this new blog.
Hey guys😊How are you?
QOTD: How many books have you bought last year?
Last year I add 22 new books to my little personal library. This year I hope to buy even more books. I already bought 2 books this month
This year I want to cook more, I saw the vegetarian version of this book on booktube and I thought I would give it a go. The recipes look easy and delicious and the photography is gorgeous. I will revisit this post one I’ve cooked some of the recipes in here. I don’t have special plans this weekend, other than maybe watch movies and read some books.
What are you planning to do this weekend?

“His mouth curls into a smile. His eyes shine with wicked intent. “Look at them all, your subjects. A shame not a one knows who their true ruler is.”
This book was perfect. I don’t think there’s any combination of words that could accurately convey just how good this book is.
Review is now up on my blog. Link in bio!

There is something about winter and fast-paced stories that seem to go together for me… so I’m so thrilled to team up with @tlcbooktours and @authoreisaacs to bring you The Scythian Trials.

If you love Amazon Warriors you will enjoy this book.

#finnfuryrevolution Day Eighteen: Books About War and Fighting 📚
I’m just about due for an Eragon reread. The last time I touched these was when Inheritance had just come out 📖
Having been somewhat deeply devastated by the end of the series for reasons mainly to do with a ship not sailing as I might have liked, I’ve been utterly unable to return 🤷🏻♀️
Since The Fork, the Witch, and the Worm has been released I’m particularly keen to delve back in. And it has been seven years, right? I should be over it, yeah? 😅

Qotd: Do you guys like snow?
I do not. I mean, it’s pretty, but.. cold and wet and dangerous. And I think I’m going to need to take more pictures for Instagram this weekend 😱 Which is okay, i guess, since were forecasted to get a BUNCH of snow 😭 I will not be leaving my house once I get home today at all. Hopefully the roads are clear by Monday.

“Your headlights don’t scare me.”
The beginning of this installment to the Kate Daniels series is why I think there are people who dislike Curran. I mean, this is told in Kate’s POV so we all get to be immersed in her anger and annoyance, but overall, especially when Curran does all the heroics and saving the world thing ALONGSIDE Kate, I’m willing to forgive him. *not that anyone asked about my opinion on the matter. LOL
“I don’t understand. Why us? What did we ever do to anybody?” She was looking for comfort in the wrong place… .
“Sometimes there is no reason, … Just a bad roll of the dice.”
This particular exchange is my favorite bec I love it when IA addresses the minutiae of Kate’s merc work, down to dealing with the innocents she comes across. I also love the part where she got over paralyzing anxiety by picturing the worst case scenario and making herself live through it. This just showed how much of a badass Kate Daniels really is. •
“We don’t live in a safe world. I can’t give you the white picket fence, and if I did, you’d set it on fire.”
I will admit that I haven’t read a lot of romances explicitly labeled with Alphas (this might be my very first series with shifters too) but I loved that BOTH Kate and Curran have individual strengths that constantly clash with each other. Kate’s lineage finally comes into play in the dynamics of their relationship too, and I love how this is handled. I liked all the explosive action and magic and drama of it all, but epilogue, the tiny, quiet, and probably short-lived normalcy in that ending to this installment really touched my heart.
“Everybody has something, that one thing they must do to feel happy. I think this is yours.”
