herzspalter: Breaking: Local teenagers get lots of money and don’t need to worry about a thing and go shopping together and aren’t hurting anybody and are happy. I only get time to scribble for myself during the night so most of that is just things that make me happy :’) also needed to take a bit of a break from drawing sharp metal shapes all day, so humans it is!

setheverman: did-you-kno: Fika is the Swedish tradition of having coffee, cake, and a chat. It’s such an integral part of the culture that many businesses have fika twice a day, and sometimes it’s mandatory. Source Source 2 According to IKEA’s corporate website: “Some of the best ideas and decisions happen at fika.“ so after reblogging this to find out if other countries had this as well, i found out the following: germany: yeah we have something similar called “Kaffee und Kuchen” :) america: i work 16 hours per day at minimum wage and get a 7 minute unpaid lunch break, and instead of “fika” i have “suffering” and “death”

out-there-on-the-maroon: thetwistedrope: quasi-normalcy: comcastkills: headlines I like to see Why would you post the headline but not the article? (X) Last week, 19 towns across Colorado voted to allow the exploration of creating a local, public alternative to expensive private providers. Fort Collins voters went the furthest, passing a measure to finance an assessment of starting a city-owned broadband utility, which would aim to provide faster service at a cheaper price. That means residents could have a say in whether a new public network maintains the principle of net neutrality, whatever the FCC decides in the future. Read the article if you can, the voting margins are obscenely high in favor. :D

archiemcphee: Surreal Sunday is the perfect day to go visit and pose for selfies with the Shark Girl in Buffalo, NY. Seated alone on a rock beside the Buffalo River, she’s the creation of artist Casey Riordan Millard. “Millard has been painting Shark Girl, who’s been featured in almost all of her work, since 2004. It’s Millard’s first public sculpture, funded by a $6,000 grant through Cincinnati’s Arts Ambassador Fellowship in 2013. Shark Girl spent a few years posing for photos on the Ohio River, before making her way to Buffalo in August 2014. The sculpture was refurbished in 2015 and placed in Canalside, a historic district and once the western terminus of the Erie Canal.” Head over to Atlas Obscura to learn more about this wonderfully strange piece of public art. cartooncommubackup: Hey there fellars, I just made a new web comic series “Bionic”! Bionic is about a group of children that got peculiar powers from their parents, who are very well-known villains. They decides to run off home and live on their own so they could use their powers only for good. They quiet suck at it, but they’re trying their best! More episodes and pages will be uploaded on Tapas! Reblogs are very appreciated so more people can know about it! Arasfgddgksf oh my gosh, this is my first time ever to make a comic series!!! I’m so excited for this to turn out! Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did when drawing them :D

fried-reject: somuchforthetolerantleft: monkeysky: Remember back in 2011 when Obama had GOP members over for dinner, and he served so many peas that the republicans made him eat their servings, and a bunch of cartoonists argued about who made whom eat peas? what the fuck Legit, I was reading through these comics like “ are the peas supposed to represent the issues in our country?”, then you fuckin tell me “nah bro Obama just served a lot of peas at dinner.”. You have to be joking.
