typette: I wish we could have pet dinosaurs, I bet they’d be smart and like birds or something. Big fluffy ones you could feed with snake mice and stuff. Jurassic Park could’ve been huge if they bred big cute fluffy dinosaurs. You could take them on walks! Teach them things! They’d probably sound like slowed-down birds! Adorable!! Realistically they probably would hate you and rip you apart but… imagine

lesbophobes: everyone is deleting the caption to this but this work is called “perfect lovers” by the gay artist felix gonzalez-torres. the piece is about the illness and death of his HIV-positive partner ross laycock: For Untitled (Perfect Lovers) (1991), he synchronized two industrial clocks placed side by side. Inevitably, because batteries fail and things tend toward entropy, the clocks would slowly begin to advance at differing rates, out of sync, having moved, however briefly, perfectly together. (x)

turbofanatic: Dragons are extraordinarily good mimics, escaping human predation by disguising themselves as common airliners, some even going so far as to sport crude copies of carrier logos. This makes them difficult to track, though most sources agree that the dragon population is critically endangered. While there has been some success with halting large-scale dragon hunting, conservationists are still concerned about a recent spate of crashes in otherwise healthy adults. Given that dragons communicate via radio signals and that most crashes occur near military radar stations, it is theorized that the radar may be disorienting the dragons. Investigations are still ongoing.

turbofanatic: Behold, the worst animal ever. Something between a horse and a goose, amazingly fast and tireless and unbothered by high altitudes, but also high strung and angry at EVERYTHING. Also has ungodly poop and hisses all the time. This one is a mare that has had its spurs clipped off. War versions have metal bolted on the spurs like horseshoes and sometimes have metal teeth clipped in for biting. Stallions tend to be a bit bigger and have beautiful tails, but are usually slower. The villains in the manticore story would ride this sort of thing. Because of course.
